Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
At Firehouse Church, we are about building solid believers who not only understand their faith but can explain it. It's our heart's desire that you develop a spiritual backbone based on a life of walking with Christ and understanding biblical truth. Christian apologetics has been around for centuries, and we will continue in this discipline by presenting fact-based, historical, philosophical and scientific evidence so our people have a defense for the beliefs that we build our lives around.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25

The AV team is responsible for getting the church service out of the four walls and reaching people outside of our building. During service they facilitate the Word of God projected on the screen for the congregation to follow. Through their ministry the church congregation can engage with Pastor and the worship team as one body united.

Greeters stand at the church door and in the sanctuary, welcoming people into the house of God. Greeting is more than a job, it's a privilege. We're there to make everyone feel important whether they are members or guests in our church. Greeting with a smile or handshake helps set the tone of the service.
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.
Ezekiel 3:17
Among many duties the Usher's main goals is to be watchmen. A spiritual watchman is one who has been uniquely equipped by God to see. In Matthew 13 God says that every believer has been given eyes to see and ears to hear. But a watchman has to be equipped by God to see what others do not see and he has a unique capacity to see when the enemy is invading. Ushers facilitate the safety of our church congregation so we can enjoy the Word of God knowing the Pastor and the people are safe.
