A Little History
Pastors Fernando & Elizabeth Villicaña were active members of Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship in Huntington Park under the leadership of Pastors Mike & Donna Neville. It was there that they felt the call of God to pastor a church of their own. In April of 1991, with their three children, Vanessa, Aaron and Marie, they pioneered a new church in the city of Fullerton, California. From humble beginnings at a store front on Valencia St., Praise Chapel Fullerton grew steadily and has touched the lives of thousands of people. Through the years, God has blessed our church with increasingly bigger facilities to accommodate more people through the various ministries that emerge from the church’s desire to pour out the love of Jesus into the community. Then in 2015, we moved to our current location, a beautiful new place in Brea, CA with lush lawns, ample parking, and state-of-the-art buildings where we can be more effective in fulfilling the vision that God has put in our hearts. As we made the move we also change our name from Praise Chapel Fullerton to FIREHOUSE CHURCH. It was a new name at the time to fit a new location but it has always been the same “us” serving the same God with the same mission He gave us from the very beginning.

What He Is Doing Now
Pastor Fernando has never lost his vision for souls and touching the lost and hurting with the Gospel of Christ. He is still very much involved in overseeing the some of the day to day issues of the church and ministers every sunday morning, helping to grow others in Christ. He also serves as Chaplain of several Orange Counties fire houses where he is able to minister directly to men who are daily doing what was once his career.
